Are you looking to increase awareness to your Web Site? There are thousands of people around the country who are posting their needs on Forums, be it friendship, a service or a product. So here is a little tip I use to seek them out.

Go to Google and type in the following search string:

inurl:”/forum/index.php” “your keyword phrase”
(your Keyword phrase being what you think people are looking for regarding what you have to offer)

Search/Go (whatever).

Google will return hundreds of Forum Postings that contain your keyword phrase.

Click through the result and you will find real people with real needs for what you have to offer!

Does take time and effort to search through the good, bad and ugely, but well worth it.

If you join specific Forums, alway set up your signature file with your keyword phrase in the Anchor Text. Every time you make a post there is a link back to your Website, eBay Shop, MySpace Profile etc. Also Google will pick this up and give you a vote (back link) which will increase your ranking position with them.

I know a lot of SEO pros who actively post on say 100 Forums per day. I do.
