You only get one chance to make them say WOW so spend at least as much time figuring out what will do that, as you do building links, doing search engine optimization and tweaking the technical portions of your site.
Link popularity is not just about quantity, but quality. Certainly, it is a good idea to have a great number of links coming in, but search engine spiders also take into account the quality of those links: i.e. how many sites link to the site that links to you. Spiders hold a premium on sites that link to you without a corresponding reciprocal link.
Some of the facts that stand out include “Having an image next to your article improves your ranking MYTH. While having a good image with your article does improve your chance to get your picture shown, it has no impact on the ranking of the article itself.”
First let me say with minimal changes this method will work for almost any site. Catalog store sites to Adult sites. Any site with multiple categories of content and – or lots of content work very well. Remember when Yahoo owned the search engine market share and that newcomer Google hit the market by storm. I seriously believe that in the next year with Microsoft’s resources and especially their cash Google will be just another search engine and Bing will be the most searched.
